Request Donation

Here's What You Need To Do

To make a request, complete a Donation Request Form and send it with requested information regarding the organization, including your organization's 501(c)(3) IRS Determination Letter. Keep in mind your community need must be present and identifiable, and requesting groups must be tax-exempt. Please do not submit more than one request per group in a calendar year.

Qualifications

Special attention will be given to groups with:

  • Efficient and effective administration of funds and programs
  • Strong volunteer support
  • Programs that serve specific needs of people and improve their lives
  • Programs with long-term effects
  • Programs in which Agri Beef employees participate
  • Programs that encourage wide community support

And focus in the following areas: 

  • Enhancing access and quality of child/family healthcare services
  • Increasing access and availability of proteins to those in need
  • Improving and supporting education, with an emphasis on rural agriculture 

Considerations

Agri Beef makes every effort to direct its contributions where they have the greatest impact while addressing the most critical needs. We receive far more requests than there is money available and acknowledge that we are unable to fund every worthy endeavor. As a general rule*, Agri Beef will not make contributions to:

  • Churches or religious organizations for purpose of religious advocacy
  • Capital campaigns/capital expenditures and endowment campaigns
  • Lobbying/political organizations for political purposes 
  • Athletic teams, events, or sponsorship unless as part of the employee match program
  • Disease related causes or research
  • Funding for individuals unrelated to agribusiness, including transportation and travel expenses
  • Organizations or programs that are identified more with specific groups of people rather than the general public including individuals or individual needs
  • Advertising, publications, films or television production or programming
  • Unrestricted operating funds
  • Organizations without 501(c)(3) status

*These are merely guidelines. Agri Beef Co. reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine recipients of its charitable contributions. Agri Beef Co. may exclude or include organizations as Agri Beef determines appropriate. 

Timing Requirements

Agri Beef’s fiscal year runs from January 1st to December 31st but proposals may be submitted at any time during the year at least 90 days prior to the event to give proper time to evaluate the request. The contributions committee meets quarterly and proposals for donations will be approved or denied upon review. Agri Beef supports organizations through cash contributions and product contributions.
